Regional Program Manager - Maternity Cover (12 months contract)
Are you an experienced project manager, with a passion for gender and women's reproductive rights?
Marie Stopes International Australia (MSIA) is looking for a Regional Program Manager (Maternity Cover) to oversee an innovative DFAT funded project in Cambodia, Viet Nam and Myanmar.
You will have proven experience in leading complex projects and a knack for relationships and partnership brokering.
In its second year, the Empower project works with Marie Stopes Ladies in Cambodia, Viet Nam and Myanmar to provide contraception and safe abortion services at scale. The Regional Program Manager will lead the implementation of the Empower project, report to the donor and manage stakeholder relations. The primary responsibility of this role is to work with the MS Ladies teams in each country to deliver program outputs and ensure the project is implemented on time and on budget. The Regional Program Manager will work closely with other key stakeholders across the MSI partnership and DFAT.
Reporting to the Senior Program Manager, the Regional Program Manager role is a part-time position based in Melbourne, with travel within the Asia Pacific region.
What we want you to do:
• Support country teams to implement project activities in line with the project design and DFAT policy and procedures
• Support country programs to leverage the MS Ladies channel to deliver on their strategic and business plans
• Lead project monitoring and evaluation, using a range of quantitative, qualitative and participatory techniques
• Relationship management and coordination with DFAT and across MSI
• Strengthen the implementation of gender programming at MSIA and Empower country programs
